Based in Los Angeles, California, Andrew Le Guier works as a freelance sound editor & re-recording mixer. With a career spanning over 8 years and 3 continents, Andrew’s recent projects include the independent feature film “Boiler Maker”, as well as the forthcoming feature documentary “Bouncing Cats”, featuring K’Naan, Common, & the Rock Steady Crew, for Red Bull Films. In the very near future Andrew is excited to be sound designing and mixing the feature documentary “Distant Relatives” from acclaimed Director Nabil Elderkin. Other recent works include various theatrical trailers, commercials, and TV spots for clients such as Paramount, Disney, Warner Bros, Sony, Screen Gems, and Adult Swim.
Utilizing the latest Pro Tools, Andrew is capable of working in both stereo & 5.1 surround sound, employing various techniques to achieve the utmost results, working closely with both his clients’ vision, as well as budget.
Andrew’s career in Post-Production Sound began in the busy independent post house Resolution in Soho, London in 2002; gaining excellent tutelage in the craft of editing and mixing sound for picture for some of the U.K.s most viewed television shows including BBC2’s Top Gear & RDF Media’s Wife Swap U.K.
After 2 years in London he headed back to his hometown of Melbourne, Australia, where he worked as freelancer, mixing long & short form television programs, as well as sound designing commercials for TV, radio and internet mediums.
